Hi...I'm Little La La

Week Two Milestones

She was originally named after NASCAR driver #22, but we found Lagano was not a good fit for this little girl…so her name has evolved into ‘Little La La,’ cause she very much her mamma. This little girl came into the world on the passive side, as puppy number two she was quiet and content. But by week three she was ruling the pack. She stands out as the alpha female of the bunch. Much like her mamma she’s very vocal. Not noisy, but willing to dictate using her barks, and collectively she has a few distinct vocals. At three weeks old, she commands the whelping pen. She will sit up and howl, very much like a wild wolf. I have to say, there is something hugely comical about a 3lb, 3 week old, puppy…trying to be angry and growling…but she does…and the others pay attention.

Week Four Milestones

Little La La is still the female alpha. I don’t think that’s going to change. She weighed in at 4.25 pounds, and is the second biggest dog of the litter, just behind our Beasty Boy…aka Kubota. She is a very smart puppy and already problem solving. She’s still very vocal, and I’m catching on to each bark in tone & pitch, so are her pack mates. She is not just smart, she’s strong, and trust me if her pack is not receptive to her vocals, she physically rules the roost. It’s too soon to say for sure but this pup is going to need a home with active family members. A dog that is active in mind and energy needs to be worked. She will want a job or need an active lifestyle. So if your family unit is on the go, jogging, hiking, camping, swimming, hunting…this is the pup for you to keep an eye on.

Week Six Milestones

Little La La is still a spicy pup, and together with two other sisters, they definitely rule the pack. She weighed in at 8.6 this week. She’s very smart and eager to learn. I predict she will make a great working dog and absolutely love it. So if your family is active, perhaps with kids that are ready to take on the responsibility of a dog, this pup would be perfect. But she’s gonna need mental and physical stimulation.

I'm Ready for My Forever Home!

It's true...I'm ready for my forever home...

Little La la has excelled as far as being one of the dominant females, she’s a leader. She is well behaved with the humans, and exceptionally easy to train. Her Early Developmental Skills are second nature. She is responding to name calling, yes, no, puppy pad about 80% of the time. She’s a little off in the outside play area, but that’s to be expected at her age. She does the two outside steps with ease. She’s still working on her Bite Inhibition Training. She knows…she just gets over stimulated and forgets. But she responds well to a change of vocal tone and a stern “no.” This one is smart!
