Hi...I'm Bowman aka Beau
Week Two Milestones
…this little boy was named after NASCAR racer number 48…at 3 weeks old I’d say he and Byron (the puppy) could be twins. Their personalities are very similar, although mobility wise, this pup is slightly slower than pup number 4…🤫Slow…aka…slower, are not good words to use in NASCAR…but it’s the truth in puppy world. This puppy is passive but eager to learn.
Week Four Milestones
This little fur-ball is still in the ‘little’ category weighing in at 3.59. He’s all sugar and not much spice. He’s passive and loves to please. We call him Beau, short for Bowman. He’s evolving into a puppy that will be perfect for a family with ‘little’s’ of their own. If this is representative of your family unit, please keep an eye on this handsome fella.
Week Six Milestones
Beau had been one of our ‘little’s’ in the beginning. (We don’t like to use the word ‘runt’ in our house 🤫, but at today’s weighing this little is not so little anymore. Beau weighed in at 7.3 lbs fitting him into the average weight of the rest of his littermates! Congrats little dude. He’s also a spunky puppy, we have a lot of alpha in this pack. Trust they keep me busy! But Beau has a beautiful personality. He’s brave and eager to learn, yet he’s sweet and very lovable. He will fit right in with small children and older. He will love energetic play, and intellectual stimulation, but he will also be very happy in ‘down time’ with some snuggles…he’s a very loving pup.
I'm Ready for My Forever Home!
It's true...I'm ready for my forever home...
This little guy is sooooo lovable! He has one of the sweetest personalities in the bunch. He is the littlest in the litter and after getting cleared by our vet for worms we have started to give him an extra meal, separate from his littermates. It appears Bowman has a fast metabolism. He is fast and furious, and loves a good romp & roll.
Bowman's Early Developmental Training has been flawless, there is nothing that we challenge him with that he hasn’t accomplished. He knows ‘yes’ (our reward word) and the commands ‘no’,and ‘leave it.’ He loves the water, will respond to his name, sit, and uses the puppy pads almost flawlessly.
His Bite Inhibition Training is his weakest score. He still pursues biting on everything, including puppy pads and pant legs. But we are working on it and he does respond to ‘no’,and ‘leave it.’
