Hi...I'm Blaney

Week Two Milestones

…She was named after NASCAR driver #12… and just like Ryan Blaney, she’s very calm and passive, until it’s time to roll…then she’s all go and no slow…she came into the world strong, but evolved passively. She was one of the slower pups in the pack to gain weight. Aka a member of the ‘Littles.’ When I say this it’s not to be confused adversely. All of our puppies reached their milestones above average. Simply put, they all fall into the pack according to personality…At week 3 this little… is finding her own. She’s happy being passive, she loves to follow her other siblings. But she takes a stand back, quiet approach.

Week Four Milestones

Week four... Blaney has graduated out of the ‘Littles’ category and she now weighs in with the bulk of the pack. At 4 weeks Blaney weighed in at 3.99. True to her NASCAR name sake, Blaney still remains very passive in personality. She’s easy to get along with in her pack, super loving and plays by the rules. But she’s feisty when provoked. Let’s just say this pup takes no puppy poop!

Week Six Milestones

This little lady is moving and grooving. All the puppies are on solid food and mamma is no longer nursing. I like to feed my dogs real food, no dog food, and the pups received the same treatment…but we started implementing kibble so they are acclimated when they head off to their new homes. Blaney is transitioning nicely weighing in at 6.7. She’s still a chill little pup, but takes care of business in the social aspect of the pack. She’s very smart and often leads when we introduce the pups to new stimuli. She is going to make a wonderful family dog for a forever home with small kids that love to be active.

I'm Ready for My Forever Home!

It's true...I'm ready for my forever home...

Blaney still remains very passive in personality. She’s easy to get along with in her pack, super loving and plays by the rules. But she’s feisty when provoked. Let’s just say this pup takes no puppy poop!

At 7 weeks moving into 8 weeks Blaney excels at her Early Developmental Skills. She picked up on using the puppy pads really quick. She’s acclimating to strange noises and her environment. She responds appropriately to yes and no. She’s still working on her Bite Inhibition Training. She knows the rules…but she just gets over stimulated and forgets. She responds nicely to a redirect. She goes up and down two steps off of our back porch…and she knows ‘sit,’ when used in conjunction with a hand in front of her nose. BUT where this little girl really excels is in the water! All of our dogs love the water but Blaney was the first with all Early Developmental Training in the pool. She was the first to fully immerse herself under the shower setting on the hose, and in 4 inches of water in the pool. She also already holds her breath to go under and retrieve a ball…again, 4” of water. But the proof couldn’t be more responding than that! This little girl is a water dog. If you and your family are too…this is your pup.

I'm Ready for My Forever Home!

Hello everyone, we wanted to give our final updates on this litter of pups…we have most pups re-homed at this stage, with a final few remaining.  We have appointments for meet & greets scheduled for this Sunday, so if you are interested in a pup please reach out at your earliest convenience.

Blaney is turning into such a wonderful puppy. We think she has hit a ‘fear stage’ most likely triggered by the sale of her twin and partner in crime. Fear stages are a normal developmental stage in every puppies life. With care and guidance these phases pass without long term effects.

Blaney’s personality remains passive and her NEADS Temperament training scored nicely for placement with families with small children. Her Early Developmental Training was easy to navigate, she’s potty trained and responds well to verbal and hand commands in her training protocols. Her bite inhibition is still needing some work, but she’s made great strides with that in the last week. Again, I think she was missing her partner in crime and simply testing boundaries.

Blaney is an amazing and sweet puppy with lots of energy balanced by cuddle time. She will be an amazing puppy in a family unit, with children of all ages, or a 1:1 family unit. She has two bookings this weekend, so if you're interested please reach out.
