Hi...I'm Beasty Boy

Week Two Milestones

…this little boy was the only pup in the pack not named after a race car driver, no color collar, he was a stand alone pup right from the get go. He was the last pup to be birthed and was significantly bigger than the rest. We nicknamed him Kubota because as soon as he had paws on the ground he would use his nose to roll the other pups out of his way. We are watching this pup closely, and might keep him for our tribe. At 3 weeks he’s displaying alpha characteristics, he leads by brute strength…kinda like his dad…

Week Four Milestones

Kubota, aka Beast Boy is still true to his birth day. He’s still the biggest, baddest, dog in the pack. Weighing in at 4.61. He’s a beast. Still keeping an eye on him for our own pack, but if you're looking for a full working Labrador this boy is gonna be all go…and probably could show!

Week Six Milestones

Beasty Boy weighed in at 7.8lbs today. He’s evolving into a laidback kind of pooch. He loves naps and stays to himself for the most part. He fits in with the social game of his littermates, but for the most part he’s off on his own. He’s very independent. He’s very sweet and easy to get along with.

Week Eight Milestones

It's true...I'm ready for my forever home...

I’d have to say this little dude is probably the most passive in the pack. He enjoys his independent time, but he’s initiating more chaos as of late. He picks up fast in his Early Developmental Training, but likes to sit back and observe in group settings. When we work one on one, he’s cautious, but consistent. He uses his puppy pads at night, he responds to ‘yes,’ ‘no,’ and ‘leave it.’ His Bite Inhibition Training is average. He’s still mouthy, but when redirected responds nicely and consistently. We absolutely love this little guy.

I'm Ready for My Forever Home!

Hello everyone, we wanted to give our final updates on this litter of pups…we have most pups re-homed at this stage, with a final few remaining.  We have appointments for meet & greets scheduled for this Sunday, so if you are interested in a pup please reach out at your earliest convenience.

Beast was the first pup we initially thought about keeping in our breeding program. As you have read in his early weeks, he was a beast of a new born pup. He’s a leader in the puppy pack, but acclimates nicely to his human pack, meaning he doesn’t take much leadership commands from his four legged siblings, but he responds nicely to leadership in his human unit. Which in my mind is a great character in a dog.

His NEADS Temperament training scored nicely for placement with families with small children. His Early Developmental Training was easy to navigate, he’s potty trained and responds well to verbal and hand commands in his training protocols. His bite inhibition is also navigating nicely…puppies will be puppies but he redirects as soon as he is prompted. He understands what is acceptable bite pressure and what is not.

Beasty is energetic and loves training and play time, but equally loves some snuggle and nap time. This pup is beautiful, intelligent, and loving, and respectful! He’s going to be missed in our family, but I know he will be loved in yours. Please reach out if you would like to meet Beasty, we are booking appointments this Sunday.
